cPanel language

As cPanel is the most popular and widely used hosting control panel, I bet you have used it on at least one of your hosts. Since many of you are not native English speakers, the cpanel developers have added soem additional languages, which you can use, to make the job of maintaining your account a bit easier. By default every cPanel installation has the following tralslations included:

• English
• Hindi
• German
• French
• Japanese
• Chinese
• Portuguese
• Russian
• Arabic
• Bengali
• Spanish

You can change your cpanel in any of these without even contacting your host. The whole procedure is quite easy. Create a file named .lang and place if in your homedir (this is in the same level as public_html). In this file add the laguage, which you’d like to use and Voila, your cPanel language has been changed :)

NB: if you are logged in cPanel while changing your language, you might need to log out and clear your browser’s cookies before the changes take effect!
